About Us

Aims & Objectives
Darlington Camera Club was established in 1936 with the aim of promoting photography in its widest sense. We have adapted this over the years to adopt the latest technology including digital imaging, but remain equally focused on conventional film technology also.

Club Meetings
Darlington Camera Club meets at 7.00 pm every Monday evening between September and July (During Term Times), and then Bi-Weekly through August. Our meeting venue [from 14th November 2010] is:

Programme & Syllabus
Our weekly meeting programme and syllabus is designed to cater for all experience levels and interests, both Film and Digital.

Membership enquiries should be directed to the club secretary or chairman, whose details can be found on the Club Officers page.

Subscriptions & Visitor Fees
Due at the beginning of the season (Sept)
Payment of the club subscription gives entitlement to enter all club competitions.

  • Adult Members £25, £3 Per Night to Cover administration and Meeting Venue Fees
  • Visitors £3 per night (up to 4 visits when normal subs then become due)This fee is to cover the cost of weekly meetings & expenses.


Please note: It is respectfully pointed out that smoking is not permitted in club meetings.
